Doubleloops was founded when I, Line Aakær, was just four years old one morning in 2003. Vivi Aakær Jensen, my mother, had to put my hair up in two identical braids, but two identical elastics were missing. Vivi tied the two elastics together with thread and thus created the first Doubleloops hair ornament . Until the year 2007, my mother and I were all over the world with Doubleloops.
In 2007, Vivi stopped the production and sale of the DoubleLoopS jewelry due to new career opportunities, but I continued to be interested in the hair jewelry and saw the potential grow every year. I worked on various prototypes and ideas for many years. In the summer of 2023, I could finally present my collection.

We design our collections with care and offer gold, silver and silk jewelery in quality-conscious materials.
Our Golden jewelery is made of the finest 18k gold, plated on stainless steel to ensure the best quality. This robust PVD coating ensures the most beautiful finish, waterproof and longer durability.
Our Silver jewelery is made of the finest 925 Sterling silver, coated on stainless steel to ensure the best quality. This robust PVD coating ensures the most beautiful finish, waterproof and durability.
Our silk jewelry is made from the finest silk ribbons, which are gathered in 2 end loops made in 18k gold, plated on stainless steel to ensure the best quality. An engraved Doubleloops logo can be seen on both end caps.
Our elastics are designed to be gentle on the hair, while keeping the jewelery perfectly in place.
The jewelery is nickel-free and lead-free, cf. Danish legislation.
